Unity is love applied in a group setting.  After mostly being a receiver of love at the previous stage, we now can commit to a group of people with whom we share a common ground.  There are many possibilities.  Pick most any group of folks you care to be with and join in purpose and experience the power.  Join SlugSociety, A.A., a therapy group, or any supportive network available.  Unity is the bridge from early recovery to full recovery.  Unity is the middle, linking the beginning to the completed journey.  It is a necessary element.  Don’t miss second base.

Growth occurs naturally in the sober, loved/loving, united person.  Growth is also a product of certain activities, such as psychotherapy, 12 Step work, body awareness through exercise and nutrition programs.  Growth is a wonderful experience and it is yours at third base.  It is a mistake to think you can grow without the first three SlugSteps.   So, get sober, get love, get united, then get growing.
